As a congregation, we are busy, busy. Daughters of the King, Ministry and Outreach, the musical team, EFM, the stewardship team, and tending to all the other necessary chores that are a result of having a thriving church—all these projects are ongoing and all members participate and work together to see that things flow smoothly.
Here at Trinity, the kitchen is indeed the heart of our home. The appliances are of the highest quality, well-maintained, and updated as needed. A team of excellent cooks organizes numerous potlucks and festive gatherings; and, as we have several reasons to rejoice throughout the year, our celebrations are always marked by fellowship and delicious food. During Lent we have soup suppers and a lesson on Wednesday evenings. Throughout the year we enjoy an occasional movie night, complete with popcorn and lemonade. And, every once in a while, group chore days are held to address things like washing windows, organizing closets, or landscaping projects—and these volunteer efforts are followed by a scrumptious meal!
