Outlook
Currently we have two hundred and twenty-three members and two hundred and fifty-one active parishioners. In the last year we’ve had six weddings, baptisms, and confirmations, and we’ve welcomed sixteen new members. Because of the signs of growth in our small city—new businesses, housing construction, and increased migration from Austin—we anticipate that, in the next few years, there may be a surge in our membership.
We have ninety-one annual pledging units at an average amount of four thousand dollars. Because of some large endowments, we are debt-free and have recently purchased a new organ, completed construction of our parish hall, painted the interior and exterior of all buildings, and replaced our refrigeration units in the kitchen. We are in grand shape!
Our vestry is composed of a senior warden, junior warden, and seven members, all of whom are dedicated to seeing that our funds are used wisely, and that our decisions are guided by God’s will. Our focus is always on being a major Christian presence in the Highland Lakes District, and to follow Christ through the ministries of worship, education, and service.
